Research focus：
My research interests focus on potato diseases management and resistance breeding. Several significant breakthroughs have been made in population structure of Phytophthora infestans, control technologies on potato late blight, and pathogen research on Spongospora subterranean f.sp. subterranean. Potato varieties have been developed, such as Dianshu-potato 6, which are horizontally resistant to late blight, and excellent in both marketable tuber percentage and eating quality. I am also serve as a member of the Potato Association Council affiliated with the Crop Science Society of China.
